Contest Rules – The Inuits run
Participation in the contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules in their entirety, without condition or reservation.
Article 1. ORGANIZING COMPANY
The company Méribel Alpina, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €3,235,500.00, headquartered at 350 route de Mottaret, 73550 MERIBEL LES ALLUES, France, registered with the Chambéry Trade and Companies Register under number 075 520 064 00017, represented by Mr. Alexandre BOUET, acting as General Manager of Méribel Alpina.
Méribel Alpina is organizing a free contest without any purchase obligation called “Piste des Inuits Contest” (hereinafter referred to as “the Contest”) from December 22, 2024, to April 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM, French connection date and time being authoritative, according to the terms of these rules.
Article 2. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest is organized from December 22, 2024, to April 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM, French connection date and time being authoritative.
The deadline for participation in the Contest is set for April 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Any participation after this date will not be considered.
Article 3. CONTEST COMMUNICATION
The Contest is announced on the following communication platforms:
- On the Méribel Alpina online sales site: https://www.skipass-meribel.com/en
- On the Piste des Inuits site: https://inuits-meribel.fr/
- On visuals present in the Méribel ski area (stickers, signage, videos, etc.) Participants must complete a participation form for the Contest on the aforementioned platforms.
Article 4. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
4.1 The Contest is open to all customers and individuals of all nationalities who have completed the online form from December 22, 2024, to April 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM, French connection date and time being authoritative.
Participation by a minor in the Contest requires prior express authorization from their parents or the person with parental authority. For this purpose, Méribel Alpina reserves the right to verify and, if necessary, declare null any unauthorized participation by a minor.
Expressly excluded from the Contest are:
- Méribel Alpina staff, its commercial partners, and their direct family members;
- Anyone who has directly or indirectly participated in the design, organization, execution, and/or management of the Contest, as well as their direct family members.
To participate in the Contest, the participant must:
- Have a valid personal email address;
- Not fall into one of the excluded categories mentioned above;
- Not have already completed a participation form for the Contest.
Article 5. PARTICIPATION METHODS
The Participant must complete the dedicated online form: https://inuits-meribel.fr/ The Participant can only participate once in the contest.
Article 6. WINNER SELECTION
Winners of the Contest will be selected by random draw. The draws will take place on:
- 01/06/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 01/13/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 01/20/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 01/27/2025 for the first 6-day Family Flex 3 Vallées ski pass draw among all participants who completed the form between 12/30/2024 and 01/26/2025 at 11:59 PM.
- 02/03/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 02/10/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 02/17/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 02/24/2025 for the second 6-day Family Flex 3 Vallées ski pass draw among all participants who completed the form between 01/27/2025 and 02/23/2025 at 11:59 PM.
- 03/03/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 03/10/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 03/17/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 03/24/2025 for the third 6-day Family Flex 3 Vallées ski pass draw among all participants who completed the form between 02/24/2025 and 03/23/2025 at 11:59 PM.
- 03/31/2025 for the puzzle draw
- 04/06/2025 for the fourth 6-day Family Flex 3 Vallées ski pass draw among all participants who completed the form between 03/24/2025 and 04/05/2025 at 11:59 PM.
The draws will be conducted using Excel by an impartial hand.
The winners of the following prizes will be designated:
- 4 winners for prize 1 described in Article 7.1
- 10 winners for prize 2
The prizes are described in Article 7.1 below.
Article 7. PRIZES
7.1 Description of the prizes
The prizes offered are as follows:
- Prize 1: 4 Family Flex 3 Vallées ski passes valid for 4 people in the following composition: 1 adult and 3 children or 2 adults and 2 children, valid only during the 2025-2026 winter season.
- Prize 2: 10 miniature puzzles featuring the character Yatho from the Piste des Inuits.
7.2 Prize information
The prizes described above are personal and non-transferable. It is strictly forbidden to sell or exchange them.
The prizes cannot be awarded in any form other than that provided for in these rules.
The prizes are neither refundable, exchangeable, nor replaceable for any reason. No cash equivalent will be given in exchange for the prizes won.
Méribel Alpina reserves the right, if circumstances require, to modify and/or replace the prizes defined in Article 7.1 above with other prizes of equivalent value, without the winners being able to claim any compensation or counterpart of any kind. Only one prize per household can be awarded in the context of the Contest. A household is understood as any person bearing the same surname and/or postal address.
Article 8. WINNER INFORMATION AND PRIZE DELIVERY METHODS
Each winner of the Contest will be personally informed of their win and the methods for obtaining the prize won by email sent to the email address they previously registered on their participation form, no later than seven (7) calendar days following the Contest draw dates:

Response and prize claim methods for a winner:
The winner will be asked to send a response email to the sender of the email mentioned above, within a maximum of seven (7) calendar days from the date of sending the email informing them of their win. The winner’s email must include their title, name, first name, postal address, and phone number (landline or mobile) where the winner can be contacted.
In the absence of a response from the winner, for any reason, within the specified period or if the participant’s contact details and/or documents are false, erroneous, or invalid, or if the winner cannot or does not wish to benefit from the prize won for any reason, and generally in case of the winner’s renunciation of their prize, the winner loses the full benefit of their win and cannot claim any compensation or counterpart in this respect.
The information requested from the winners will be reminded in the winner’s email communicated by Méribel Alpina.
Article 9. VALIDITY CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST
9.1 The participant undertakes to provide accurate and complete information as part of their participation in the Contest. The information provided by the player as part of their participation is binding on the player as soon as their participation form is validated.
9.2 Participants authorize all legal verifications concerning their identity and contact details.
In case of false, erroneous, illegible, incomplete, imprecise, or fanciful identity and/or address (postal and/or electronic), Méribel Alpina reserves the right, without notice or prior information, to cancel the participation of the concerned player and to delete or make it impossible for them to access the Contest, without prejudice to any recourse or action that it may implement against them.
9.3 The participant is prohibited from using the surname, pseudonym, and/or email address of a third party and/or that could infringe the rights of third parties (notably by using the surname of a third party, the pseudonym of a famous or notorious personality, someone else’s trademark, works protected by copyright, etc.).
In no case can Méribel Alpina be held liable for the use by a participant of a term or sign that usurps the identity of another person and/or infringes a property right of any kind that they do not hold in the context of participation in the Contest.
9.4 Any incomplete, illegible, falsified, counterfeit participation, containing false information, not complying
9.5 Any participation entails the express transfer of image rights of the participant and all persons present in the photo submitted by the participant. The participant must ensure authorization for the use of the image of the persons present in the photo, especially minors for whom they are responsible.
9.6 Only participations that comply with the provisions of these rules will be considered in the context of the Contest.
Article 10. COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONTEST RULES
10.1 Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules in their entirety, without condition or reservation.
10.2 The participant is prohibited from implementing or attempting to implement any process, of any nature, likely to alter the proper functioning and/or smooth running of the Contest, as well as any process that would contravene the provisions of these rules.
10.3 Méribel Alpina may, at any time, carry out any control operation to ensure compliance with the provisions of these rules by any participant in the Contest.
Méribel Alpina is free to cancel the participation in the Contest of any participant who would be the author of fraud, an attempt at fraud, abuse, and/or any act of any nature and in any form that would contravene the provisions of these rules. In case of cancellation of a participant’s participation, the latter is deprived of all their rights to obtain the Contest prize.
Additionally, Méribel Alpina reserves the right to take legal action and seek damages against anyone who would contravene these rules due to presumed fraud and/or alter the proper functioning and/or smooth running of the Contest.
In any case, Méribel Alpina has the possibility to pursue, by any means, anyone who would contravene the provisions of these rules.
In case of attempted or proven fraud, Méribel Alpina reserves the right, at any time, without notice or prior information to the participants, to cancel the Contest, shorten it, postpone it, or modify its conditions without its responsibility being engaged.
Article 11. LIABILITY EXEMPTION
11.1 Presumed Fraud
In case of presumed fraud committed by a participant that would alter the proper functioning of the game or its entire course, Méribel Alpina cannot be held responsible for such acts towards other participants.
11.2 Difficulties encountered on the Wi-Fi network or misuse of interactive terminals on the Piste des Inuits site
Participation in the Contest implies knowledge and acceptance by any participant of the characteristics and limits of the Wi-Fi Internet network, including the functional characteristics and technical performance of the Internet network; problems related to connection and/or access to the network and/or the Piste des Inuits website; problems related to the availability and congestion of networks; problems related to network failure or saturation; problems related to transit time, access to online information, response times to display, consult, query, or otherwise transfer data; risks of interruption; lack of protection of certain data against possible misappropriation or hacking; risks of contamination by possible viruses circulating on said networks, etc., for which Méribel Alpina cannot be held responsible.
Méribel Alpina cannot be held responsible for the occurrence of any of the events listed below:
- In case of defect, error, interruption, delay in operation or data transmission, communication failures, loss, deterioration, destruction, deletion, theft, unauthorized access, or data modifications;
- In case of technical problems preventing the correct routing of messages, non-delivery of emails,
- In case of sending messages and/or data to a false, erroneous, or incomplete address;
- If the data related to participation in the Contest does not reach it, for any reason, or if the data it receives is illegible or impossible to process;
- If one or more participants fail to access the Contest, for any reason;
- In case of impossibility for a participant to participate in the Contest and/or to participate;
- If, for any reason, the participant’s connection is interrupted or if their participation in the Contest is not taken into account;
- In case of maintenance or malfunction of the Contest server and/or the Piste des Inuits site or any other technical connection.
Furthermore, Méribel Alpina declines all responsibility in case of misuse of an interactive terminal on site, and/or incident related to this use, or any other technical incident during or after participation in the Contest.
Méribel Alpina cannot be held responsible for any damage, of any nature, caused to participants, their computer and telephone equipment, and the data stored therein, nor for the consequences that may result on their personal, professional, or commercial activity resulting in any way from a connection to the Contest site.
It is the responsibility of each participant to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or software stored on their computer and telephone equipment against any attack and/or attack of foreign origin. The connection of any person to the Contest and participation in the Contest is done under their sole, unique, and entire responsibility.
11.3 On the delivery of the prize
The delivery of the prize, although carried out in the best interest of the winner, is done at their own risk. Any claims must be made by the recipients directly to Méribel Alpina.
Méribel Alpina’s responsibility cannot, in any case, be engaged directly or indirectly:
- In case of sending the prize to an incorrect address due to the participant’s negligence at the time of their participation in the Contest;
- In case of incorrect routing of mail and postal shipments, including delays, loss, damage, and lack of legibility of postmarks due to postal and delivery services;
- In case of total or partial destruction of the prize by postal and delivery services.
11.4 Cancellation – modification of participation conditions
Méribel Alpina reserves the right, at any time, without notice or prior information to the participants, to cancel the Contest, shorten it, extend it, postpone it, or modify its conditions, particularly in the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances.
11.5 Automatic cancellation in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances
A force majeure event is an external event independent of the will of Méribel Alpina and the participants, likely to affect or compromise the proper management, security, fairness, participation procedure in the Contest, and/or the procedure for determining the winners, permanently and which cannot be reasonably anticipated by anyone.
An unforeseen circumstance is an event likely to affect or compromise the proper management, security, fairness, participation procedure in the Contest, and/or the procedure for determining the winners, which is not external to Méribel Alpina and the participants. This may include a malfunction attributable, among other things, to a computer virus, technical failure, bug, external and unauthorized intervention or intrusion into the computer system, fraud or attempted fraud, including through the use of a robot allowing the number of participations in the Contest to be multiplied.
The occurrence of a force majeure event or unforeseen circumstance as mentioned above results in the automatic cancellation of the Contest and exempts Méribel Alpina from any responsibility.
11.6 Cancellation for fraud
In case of fraud or attempted fraud, Méribel Alpina may cancel or only modify the conditions and modalities of participation in the Contest.
In case of manifest fraud, in any form, particularly computer-related, in the participation procedure in the Contest or the determination of winners, Méribel Alpina will cancel the Contest without its responsibility being engaged.
In general, no compensation or counterpart of any kind will be due to the participant(s) in case of cancellation of the Contest and/or modification of the participation conditions in the Contest and/or designation of the Contest winners.
Article 12. EVIDENCE AGREEMENT
The computerized records kept in Méribel Alpina’s systems (or their duly authorized IT service providers) according to the rules of the art in terms of security, will be considered as proof of email communications, sending, and validation of participation forms. The archiving of these elements is carried out on a medium ensuring the faithful and durable nature required by the legal provisions in force. It is agreed that in case of discrepancy between Méribel Alpina’s computerized records or their IT service providers and the paper or electronic documents held by the participant and/or the simple visitor, only the former shall prevail.
Article 13. TRANSFER AND USE OF IMAGE RIGHTS
By accepting their prize, each winner expressly transfers and authorizes Méribel Alpina to use the information related to their personal data, such as their image rights, which they provided at the time of their participation in the Contest. This information is limited to the following:
- Names, first name(s),
- Department of residence Any winner authorizes, as soon as they accept their prize, the dissemination of data allowing them to be identified, in all communication messages related to the Contest, regardless of the dissemination medium (internet, press, display, printed materials of any kind, etc.), published in mainland France (subject to the internet medium which implies worldwide dissemination) for a period of six (6) months from the date of the Contest draw and without this use conferring any remuneration, right, or advantage other than the award of the prize won.
This ability to disseminate elements related to the winners’ image rights is not an obligation for Méribel Alpina.
Article 14. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
14.1 Nature of personal data collected
Méribel Alpina reserves the right to request from the participant, particularly to ensure participation in the Contest and its compliance:
- The participant’s name and first name
- Their gender
- Their email address
- Their postal address or place of residence
- Their age (to ensure participation complies with the rights related to the protection of minors)
The participant may be asked to produce a copy of an identity document mentioning their date and place of birth and bearing their signature, in accordance with the provisions of the European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

14.2 Purpose of Data Processing and Retention Periods
Personal data collected for participation in the Contest, through the use of interactive terminals on the Piste des Inuits, will be processed for the following purposes:
- To validate the participant’s registration for the Contest and contact the participant if they win. For this purpose, participants’ data will be retained until the prizes are awarded.
- To send participants promotional offers and newsletters from Méribel Alpina and its partners (Méribel Tourisme, etc.), invitations to participate in games or contests, or satisfaction surveys. For this commercial prospecting purpose, participants’ data will be retained for three years from their collection, this period being renewed with each significant interaction between the Client and Méribel Alpina (new order, request for information, etc.).
- To respond to participants’ requests for information, comments, and complaints. For this purpose, the data will be retained for the duration necessary to process these requests, comments, and complaints.
- To carry out any compliance verification in case of suspected fraud, proven fraud, or conflict with the protection of minors. For this purpose, participants’ data will be retained until the fraudulent actions cease, or in case of litigation, until the complete resolution of the litigation.
All these processes are based on the participants’ consent.
Each participant acknowledges that unless otherwise stated in the participation form, they must provide all the necessary fields to allow Méribel to validate their registration for the Contest and contact them if they win. These mandatory fields will be marked with an asterisk (sign: “*”).
14.3 Data Controller
The data processing mentioned above is carried out under the responsibility of Méribel Alpina, whose contact details are mentioned in Article 1.
14.4 Recipients and Subcontractors of Personal Data
The processing is carried out under the responsibility of Méribel Alpina and is intended for:
- Méribel Alpina’s partners (Méribel Tourisme, Méribel Alpina’s commercial partners, and affiliated companies).
Subcontractors undertake to use participants’ data only for the purposes assigned by Méribel Alpina. These are the only purposes mentioned in the rules in Article 14.2.
These data are not likely to be transferred to a non-EU country.
14.5 Rights of Data Subjects
Participants have the right to access their data, rectify or delete them, transfer them or have them transferred to a third party, obtain the limitation of processing, or object to this processing. Méribel Alpina will comply with their request subject to compliance with laws and regulations. Participants also have the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before this withdrawal.

Furthermore, participants whose data are processed can register for free on the telephone solicitation opposition list on the website https://www.bloctel.gouv.fr.
Finally, participants have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL if they believe their rights are not being respected. Article 15. LITERARY AND ARTISTIC PROPERTY RIGHTS RELATED TO THE CONTEST
In accordance with the laws governing intellectual and industrial property rights in France, the reproduction, representation, and exploitation of all or part of the elements composing the Contest are strictly prohibited. The mentioned trademarks are protected trademarks.
Article 16. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE RULES
Méribel Alpina reserves the right to modify, at any time, all or part of the provisions of these complete rules without notice or prior information to the participants, particularly in case of technical, legal, or jurisprudential developments or the implementation of new services.
Any modifications made to the provisions of these rules will take effect on the date of their posting on the Méribel Alpina online sales website and the dedicated Piste des Inuits website. The modifications made to these rules are deemed accepted by the participants from the effective date of said modifications, under the same terms as the initial version of these rules or the previously modified version, if applicable.
In case of dispute or claim related to the Contest’s implementation, from a participant or any third party, only the version of the rules on the online sales website and the Piste des Inuits website at the time of the claim binds the Parties.
Participants must regularly check all the provisions of these rules.
Article 17. REQUEST AND CLAIM
Any request, dispute, or claim related to the Contest and/or these rules must be made in writing within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of the Contest draw, to the postal address: customer service, SAS Méribel Alpina, 350 Route de Mottaret, 73550 Méribel Les Allues.
Article 18. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These rules are subject to French law.
Any dispute or contestation related to the execution or interpretation of these rules that cannot be resolved amicably between the parties will be submitted to the judicial court within the jurisdiction of the Chambéry Court of Appeal.
